You wear a medical pendant around your neck or on your wrist like a watch (you get to choose which you want). Both the pendant and the wrist model are waterproof, so you can wear it in the shower, tub, or when you are swimming. If you ever need help, simply press your alert button. Within a few seconds, the Care Center begins a two-way conversation with you through your medical alarm console. You can speak hands-free and tell them specifically what you need. Example: "I don't need an ambulance right now, but I need you to call my son." The Care Center understands that not every call is a medical emegency, so it will do whatever you ask us to do. However, if they aren’t able to speak with you, they would immediately dispatch your local paramedics to your home and notify your key responders.

The medical alert base unit has a very sensitive speaker and microphone. In the average home, we can talk with you no matter what room you are in. If you are ever in a situation in which you alert the Care Center but you cannot communicate, perhaps because of a heart attack, stroke, or choking, they would dispatch local paramedics to your residence immediately. Even though medical alert systems have sensitive speakers and microphones, there are also special units that are specially amplified for the very hearing impaired. If the center receives a call and they do not hear anyone on the other end of the line, they will always assume the call is an emergency and will send help.

Yes, it does. If you have an emergency and are outside the house, anywhere from 600 to 1,500 feet from the console, the system will work. If you would prefer better voice quality and a pendant with a speaker in it, call us at 855-359-5450 and ask about products that provide protection away from home.

The medical alert pendant is designed to be pressed firmly and deliberately in order to avoid false alarms. There are personalized options for any individuals who have difficulties pressing the pendants. And please remember that everyone has a 30-day trial period, so if you or your loved one is not satisfied with any aspect of the product, you can always return it with no questions asked.

Yes, there are ones specially designed to work with these types of phones.

Yes you can. Just give 24 hours prior written notice, that way the Care Center can update your file with your new address and telephone number. And when you reinstall your unit, just press the pendant to test it. This way they can make sure that you are in your new location.

When you call a specialist at the Care Center will talk with you directly through your console. If you are in need of assistance, they will call your local EMS or EMT responders to help you. They will stay on the line with you until they are sure that help has arrived.

Each medical alarm system comes with a battery back-up that will keep the unit forking for up to 5 days after an electrical outage. When your power is back on, the battery recharges, so it is always prepared for any additional power outages.

You can allow your neighbors, friends, family, or security offers to have a key. A key can also be hidden and the Care Center can give the location to the EMS responders. Alternatively, the EMS responders can break in. We believe that the best solution is a MediLok lockbox, which can be provided for you. Please call us at 1-855-359-5450 for details.

It’s okay of you ever activate you medical alarm by accident. Just let the Care Center know that you pressed the button accidentally. That way no further action would be taken. The Care Center is available for you 24 hours a day and is always happy and ready to assist you. If you like you can press the button and just to say “hello” and make sure the Care Center is available with no penalties.

Yes you can. You can get coverage from us anywhere in the United States.

You do not lose your phone jack. Just plug in the system the way you would a telephone answering machine.

You do not require a special jack. Everything you will need is for the simple install is included in the kit you will receive.

Within 15-30 seconds the Care Center will begin their two-way conversation with you to determine how they can assist you.

If anything ever breaks with your medical alarm, just call us toll free at 1-855-359-5450 and we will first try to fix the problem over the telephone. If for any reason the problem cannot be fixed over the telephone, you will be sent a replacement medical alarm that same day at no charge to you.
